Gringo is committed to providing a safe dating environment for adults. We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. We actively work to prevent, detect, and remove any such content and report violations to the appropriate authorities.
2. Age Restriction
Gringo is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We enforce this through mandatory date of birth verification during registration, payment card verification (18+ requirement for card ownership), face verification technology to confirm user identity, and GPS-based location verification.
3. User Verification
All users must complete our verification process which includes face liveness detection to prevent fake profiles, payment card verification to confirm identity, and profile review and moderation.
4. Reporting Mechanisms
Users can report concerning content or behavior directly within the app. Report button is available on every profile and in every chat conversation. Block functionality prevents further contact. Reports are reviewed promptly by our team.
5. Content Moderation
We actively moderate content on our platform. All profile photos are reviewed. Automated detection systems flag inappropriate content. User reports are investigated within 24 hours. Violating accounts are immediately suspended.
6. Cooperation with Authorities
Gringo complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety. We report illegal content to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and relevant authorities, cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations, preserve evidence as required by law, and maintain records in compliance with legal requirements.
7. Prohibited Content
The following is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities: any content depicting minors, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming or solicitation of minors, and any content that sexualizes children.
